Michael Perrett has been representing NFL players his entire professional career. With over a decade of experience representing professional athletes, his expertise in the areas of contract negotiations, recruitment and sports marketing make him a valuable asset to SportsTrust.
As Vice President of Client Development, Michael helps SportsTrust recruit prospective clients, and as an NFLPA Certified Contract Advisor, he negotiates team contracts on behalf of our current clients. Michael has a tremendous reputation in the industry and is known by NFL teams and even competitors as a high character agent who works tirelessly for his clients.
He graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Business Administration/Finance with an emphasis in Marketing.? Upon graduation, Michael gained valuable sports management, sports marketing and negotiating experience by landing a highly coveted job with IMG, the world's largest sports management company. During his combined three years at IMG, his core responsibilities as an Account Executive?included generating, negotiating and facilitating local, regional and national marketing deals for its athlete clients including Drew Brees, LaDainian Tomlinson and Peyton Manning.
In 2002, ProFiles lured Michael away from IMG with an opportunity to become its Director of Marketing.? His dramatic and immediate impact on ProFiles clients' marketing opportunities earned him a promotion to ProFiles' Vice President of Marketing in 2005.? He has negotiated and facilitated countless marketing opportunities on behalf of our clients, including local, regional and national endorsements, radio and television shows, shoe and apparel contracts, trading card and licensing agreements, football camps, paid personal appearances and complimentary use of vehicles, cell phones, and other consumer products.? In 2007, Michael was again promoted to Vice President of Client Development where his primary focus would be working as an NFLPA certified contract advisor recruiting prospective clients and negotiating team contracts on behalf of clients.
